Lavon is a fresh market broccoli variety with and excellent post harvest shelf life (extended post harvest storage) and flexible harvest window. The average crown weight is between 450 – 500 grams combined with a maturity cycle of 70 – 85 days pending on the area and growing season. Due to its high quality florets, Lavon can also be used by those processing companies looking for high quality florets, this all in combination with its fine bead size.
